Mike
Kackle joined H&J Freile in 1998. Mike has over 21 years experience in the building and construction industry. Prior to joining H&J, Mike owned and operated his own successful home inspection company. Before working full-time performing NJ home inspections, Mike was a home improvement contractor and mason. He has attended the Building Inspector’s Institute where he received training focusing on home inspections. He is a licensed New Jersey home inspector, an ASHI member, ASHI certified inspector, and a NJ state licensed radon measurement technician. NJ Home Inspector License Number – GI016400. |

Glenn May joined H&J Freile in 1997. Glenn has over 16 years experience in the building and construction industry. Glenn worked as a carpenter, water and fire restoration contractor, and commercial property inspector prior to becoming a NJ home inspector. Glenn attended Roger Williams College and Northeastern University where he focused on civil engineering and mathematics. He also attended New Jersey Institute of Technology. Glenn is a graduate of the Professional Home Inspectors Institute and New Jersey Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor course. Glenn is currently on a leave of absence to pursue his passion for building and remodeling residential homes. Glenn remains actively involved in maintaining high standards for NJ home inspections and home inspectors. Glenn the past Treasurer of the Garden State chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). John Salomone joined H&J Freile in 2007. John has been a NJ licensed home inspector since 2005. Prior to becoming a licensed home inspector, John had long standing experience in Operation Management positions within the Manufactured Home Industry and in residential and commercial emergency power generation. A former Captain in the United States Marine Corps, John’s education background includes a B.S. Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Bridgeport. He has also completed the 300 hour, NJ approved Home Inspection course at Morris County School of Technology in Denville, NJ. John is a licensed New Jersey home inspector, an ASHI associate, a NJ state licensed radon measurement technician and a licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator. Carl Tebinka joined H&J Freile in 2003. When Carl decided to begin a career performing NJ home inspections, New Jersey had just passed the toughest home inspection legislation in the nation. Carl is among the few NJ home inspectors to have completed the 300 hour NJ State approved home inspector, 50 test inspections and 250 supervised NJ home inspections as a licensed associate NJ home inspector. Carl has attended courses at the US Navy Optical School, NJ Institute of Technology and Morris County School of Technology from which he holds an HVAC certificate and a NJ home inspection certificate. Carl completed the Carson Dunlop Weldon Commercial Building Inspection Course in 2005. Prior to joining H&J Freile, Carl has over 25 years of professional experience as a plant manager, plant engineer and in facility maintenance. Carl currently maintains a NJ Boiler Operators License #B-137086. Kevin
Vargo joined H&J Freile in 1996. Kevin is H&J's Operations Coordinator where in addition to performing home inspections, he supervises daily operations, provides staff and inspector training and performs quality assurance. Kevin is a graduate of the Professional Home Inspectors Institute, has a management certificate from Middlesex County College and has successfully completed the EIFS Third Party Inspection Certification and Moisture Analysis on-line training program. Kevin is a member of the Exterior Design Institute (EDI member #NJ-40) and certified by Moisture Free Warranty for EIFS inspections (Certificate# 1096). Kevin has completed a mold inspection course offered by Environmental Solutions Association (ESA) and is a Certified Mold Inspector and Assessor #11208. Kevin is a Certified Pool inspector and a member of the Northeast Spa and Pool association (NESPA). Kevin has also completed a course offered by CMC Energy Services and is certified to perform Home Energy TuneUp inspections. Kevin is a certified residential and commercial real estate inspector with the Foundation of Real Estate Appraisers. Kevin has over 10 years of experience in the construction and building inspection industry. Prior to performing NJ home inspections and other specialized inspections, Kevin worked as a landscape contractor and in logistics for a major distributor. Kevin is actively involved in maintaining the highest set of standards for NJ home inspections and is currently serving as President of the Garden State chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Zimko-
is co-founder and Vice-President of H&J Freile. Steve has over 18 years experience in the home inspection and building inspection industry. His responsibilities include reporting standards, field operations, education and customer care. Prior to joining H&J, Steve managed a 50 million-dollar service division of a publicly traded company. He has a bachelor's degree from Upsala College in East Orange, NJ. Steve personally performs NJ home inspections on a regular basis to keep up with changing construction systems, materials, techniques and trends and to keep abreast of homebuyer expectations and concerns.
